I love Walt Disney’s Jungle Cruise. In fact, being a Jungle Boat Captain has been on my “things to do” list since I was about 5 years old. While I haven’t quite got up the nerve to quit everything, move down to Southern California and try my hand as a Jungle Cruise Skipper, I do sometimes throw some Jungle Cruise tunes onto the old MP3 player and sketch or model things from the attraction. A few weeks ago I created the main Disneyland Jungle Cruise ride sign in 3d using Maya. Everything was modeled and textured from scratch using two pictures I found of the ride. I posted a render of the scene on the MiceChat boards and promised I would try and make some wallpapers from the scene. Last night I did a few different images and picked 5 to include here. The images are quite large (some are 1920 x 1280), so you may need to resize them to look nice on your desktop. I hope you enjoy and remember “I get paid for the number of people I take out…not the number I bring back!”
